As a small business owner and artist, I want to do what I can to make you happy with your art purchase. It's art, after all! It should feel gnarly to bring home.
Transparency is important to me, so don't hesitate to send me any questions.

The customer is referred to as "You", "the Customer" and"the Buyer". Villvin Gulbrandsrød Kunst & Film is referred to as "the Seller", "we", "I" or "me".
Shipping Policy
The prints are shipped to you from Oslo, Norway with Posten (Bring). Shipping costs follow their standard rates (NOK 90, Domestic Norway) plus NOK 25 for secure packaging in a cardboard file.
From the order has been made, they will be shipped within 72 hours (often less). UNLESS they are out of stock, in which case another ten days are added for restocking, and you will be informed.

Return Policy
You are entitled to withdrawing your order up until 14 days after receiving the product(s).
You are responsible for making it clear that you are using your Right of Withdrawal (Angrerett). Please send me an email to villvin.art@gmail.com with your order number, or at the very least your name, adress and date of order.
You are responsible for paying the return shipping costs. But if you return the order in its entirety, you will be refunded the entire original cost of purchase, including original shipping and payment processing costs.
You may open the package and responsibly consider the product, and still use your Right of Withdrawal. If there is damage to the product beyond this, such as, but not limited to, impact damage, tears, scratches or stains from grease, water etc. you may be responsible for paying the loss of value. In the case of art prints, they lose significant value from damage, and you may be denied a refund if the product is damaged.
If the order is refunded you will be imbursed as soon as possible after the Seller has received either the product in return or proof of the product being shipped.
Warranty Disclaimer
If there is a fault to the product that is not the fault og the Buyer, the Buyer can notify the Seller (please send me an email at villvin.art@gmail.com with a picture of the fault in the product) within 2 months of discovering the fault, and whithin 2 years of purchase. See the PDF on top of the page for details around your options for a replaced product, money reimbursed or other options.
The most common solution to a fault in this company is, depending on the severity of the fault, a reimbursement of a percentage of the price, or issuing of a replacement of the faulty product.
Artworks and prints will not be reimbursed or returned if they have been handled carelessly. This means, but is not limited to, not following any of these precautions:
Please make sure they are handled with clean, dry hands. Do not keep them in extended periods of time in direct sunlight. Do not fold, curl, scratch, hole punch or tear them. Keep them away from high heat sources. Keep them away from liquids, food, grease and dirt, and other damaging impacts. The Art posters are an affordable alternative to expensive art prints. I do my best to find the highest quality print and paper within a budget. They are good quality prints for a poster, but faint colour deterioration can be expected over the years. Handle the paper with care. Especially sunshine, even through windows, accelerates the deterioration of the printed colours. Some glass panes in frames can also through a chemical reaction deteriorate the print. If you want to be sure the colours stay true as long as possible, consider purchasing a paper or cotton passepartout from your local frame, interior or stationary vendor.
The artworks cannot be returned through any policy if they have been touched with tack-it, tape, nails, impactful clamps or similar methods that leave a tear, a hole, an imprint or residue on them.
When you're figuring out where you want to hang your artworks, do not leave them on uneven surfaces, such as your bed. Do not leave it on your kitchen table for a long time where a coffee cup could appear at any time. If you bought a poster or print, use the cardboard file it was shipped in for protection against folds and stains while you figure things out.

Privacy
Unless the Buyer states otherwise, the Seller can only collect information necessary for fulfilling the agreement.
In the checkout, you are asked for information such as your name, adress, email and other contact information, only so that I can expedite your order and keep books.
This information is only shared with the third parties necessary to make the sale happen and for my book keeping. The third parties include mail services (such as Posten / Bring), the occasional help or consultant for the company (IT services etc.), trusted friends who physically help me package orders, payment processors (i.e. Vipps, Paypal etc.), my book keeping software, Fiken, my email provider, Gmail, Shopify, my web shop host (I have done my best to turn off all the cookie and info gathering options I can whithin their platform. I will never intentionally sell your info to anyone. Your details are a big responsibility, and I do whatever I can to make sure it doesn't end up in the wrong hands through anything I do on, or off this web shop.
In short, the Buyer's personal information will only be given to a third party if it is necessary to fulfill the terms of the agreement, or in a statutory case.
Conflic Resolution
Complaints should be communicated whithin reasonable time of the problem or question arising. The parties should attempt to resolve any disputes amicably. If this is not successful, the buyer can contact the Consumer Council (Forbrukertilsynet) for mediation.
